Wire Welder
Location: Forest City, NC
Shift: 6:30 AM-2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00 /hr.
About the Role
Personnel Services Unlimited (PSU) is hiring a Wire Welder Operator for a manufacturing client.
You’ll set up and run the wire welder and take ownership of the quality of your parts. A great fit for detail-oriented people who like hands-on, team-based work.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run the wire welder
- Load welding fixtures and keep electrode tips in good shape
- Run the first part for Quality to approve, with the part drawing ready
- Check parts every hour
- Log jobs on and off
- Label and tag all containers for inventory
- Wear the right safety gear
- Keep your work area clean
- Do other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Able to meet efficiency goals
- 3+ months of machine or manufacturing experience, preferred
