Heavy Lifting– 1st Shift | Shelby, NC
About this Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate for our client in Shelby, NC. This is a 1st shift, full-time opportunity with the potential for permanent hire.
- Pay: $16.50
- Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday / (Four) 10-hour Shifts
Responsibilities Include:
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or in-store pickup.
- Operate forklifts and order pickers; assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Maintain warehouse and store cleanliness, including product stocking and display upkeep.
- Provide retail customer service, including operating the cash register.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Prior experience in a warehouse, retail, or distribution setting preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and basic computer knowledge.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or (GED) required
- Previous experience with forklift operation and/or point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license
