Tester - 3rd Shift
Job Description
About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring a Manufacturing Tester to work the 3rd shift for a local Kings Mountain, NC manufacturer. This full-time, temporary opportunity can lead to permanent hire. Pay is $20.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Build and test hydraulic pumps and motors.
- Torque fasteners: manually rotate the pump and motor shafts.
- Setup test stand with computer
- Load pump onto test stand using approved lifting devices.
- Monitor testing sequence, evaluate results, and troubleshoot failed pumps.
- Prepare pump for painting.
- Perform off-line leak testing, operate test stands manually, and perform visual checks for leaks.
- Record data, day-by-hour information, and production documentation.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use required inspection equipment.
Physical Demands:
- Light to moderate physical effort is required.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, push, pull, stoop/bend.
