Diesel Mechanic
Job Description
About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring a Skilled Diesel Mechanic to service tractors, mowers, and other farm equipment for a client in Rutherfordton, NC.
- This temporary-to-permanent opening offers a full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm schedule.
- Pay will depend on experience.
- The ideal person will have 3-5 years of experience. Is someone who values hard work and is committed to operational excellence.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, assemble, and repair agricultural tractors and equipment. Including but not limited to Tractors, Balers, Loaders, Rotary Cutters, 3-point equipment, and Z mowers.
- Fill out the work order and warranty details.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Have Own Tools.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Experience repairing agricultural tractors and equipment, including diesel/gas engines, hydraulics, transmissions, gearboxes, etc.
- Able to operate forklifts, tractors, and other equipment.
- Regularly lift 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Background checks and drug testing are required.
