Job Description
About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is seeking candidates for a Shipping and Receiving opportunity with our manufacturing client in Shelby, NC.
This temporary-to-permanent opening offers full-time 1st shift (7 am - 3 pm) hours.
Pay is $13.00/hr.
Responsibilities include:
- Receive goods and verify quality/quantity. Use hand trucks and palletizers
- Verify and record all items loaded for shipment.
- Maintain shipping records, including goods returned, damaged, and returnable pallets.
- Maintain a database of shipment data and orders
- Prepare bills of lading and tickets for shipment
- Prepare invoices
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Able to accurately count and measure
- Have computer skills (experience using an MRP is needed)
- Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping preferred
