Job Description
Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Summary: Personnel Services Unlimited is seeking a Quality Technician to work full-time for our manufacturing client in Spindale, NC.
Pay will be based on experience.
In this role you will support the Quality Management System to ensure all materials and finished goods meet specifications. Perform inspections, support new product development, and maintain quality metrics.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections at various stages: incoming, in-process, and final.
- Keep calibration programs and equipment updated.
- Maintain and perform First Article Inspections.
- Conduct red bin walks and generate scrap reports.
- Ensure proper handling of non-conformance materials.
- Communicate quality concerns promptly.
- Support corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement events.
- Analyze daily reports to track quality metrics.
- Manage inventory levels in the Material Review Board (MRB) area.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Track and support continuous improvement projects and activities.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience and Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 standards.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with measurement devices.
- Understanding of statistical data.
