Quality Control Technician
Pay: $27.00/hr. | Schedule: Full-time | Type: Temp-to-Hire
 
About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited (PSU) is hiring a Quality Control Technician for a local manufacturing company. 

This hands-on position supports production quality by performing product testing, collecting data, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and ensuring that every product meets strict performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized testing on raw materials and finished goods.
  • Verify product quality against specifications and document all test results accurately.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and operate lab instruments to ensure reliable results.
  • Communicate test findings to production and help troubleshoot issues that affect quality.
  • Keep the lab organized, clean, and audit-ready.
  • Support training and continuous improvement initiatives within the quality team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, or a related field and 1+ year of laboratory experience;
    OR High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of laboratory experience. 
  • Previous lab or manufacturing experience preferred; plastics or materials testing a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ISO or ASTM standards beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable entering and analyzing data.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and teamwork skills.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Work is performed in a production lab environment that supports a manufacturing facility. The position requires close collaboration with production teams and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality in all activities.
