Mechanical CAD Drafter (NX/Creo) — Full-Time
Location: Rutherfordton, NC
About the Opportunity:
Personnel Services Unlimited (PSU) is recruiting for a global manufacturing organization that relies on engineering expertise to produce consistent, high-quality, and reliable products for customers worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical CAD Drafter (NX/Creo) to support their engineering and design teams. The ideal candidate will have strong math skills, exceptional attention to detail, and hands-on experience with NX (3D/2D), Creo (3D/2D), and Excel.
What You’ll Do
- Create update and revise 2D and 3D engineering /mechanical drawings
- Support design and drafting activities using NX and Creo
- Assist with modeling, detailing, and documentation updates
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and design specifications
- Perform accurate data entry and tracking using Excel
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to meet deadlines
- Maintain high accuracy and compliance with drafting standards
What We’re Looking For
- Strong math skills and analytical thinking
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with NX 3D/2D drafting tools
- Experience with Creo 3D/2D drafting tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, data organization)
- Ability to learn quickly and follow technical instructions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
