Mechanic - Small Engine Repair | $16/hr. | Shelby, NC
About the Role:
PSU is hiring a Mechanic (Small Engine Repair). This opportunity is with our client in Shelby, NC.
- 1st shift hours | Full-time or Part-time
- Pay is $16.00/HR
- Benefits: Health insurance, Paid Time off, weekly pay, and referral bonuses.
Responsibilities include:
This role is ideal for a skilled mechanic with experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of small engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, and other power equipment.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in small engine repair or a similar mechanic role.
- Familiar with various types of small engines, including two- and four-stroke engines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and perform quick, accurate repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills; able to communicate repair details effectively.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and part ordering is a plus.
