Machine Operator (2nd Shift – Kings Mountain, NC)
Pay: $18.00/hr. | Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Type: Temp-to-Hire
About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring a Machine Operator for a local manufacturer in Kings Mountain, NC. This full-time, temp-to-hire position involves operating CNC and manual equipment to produce and finish precision gear components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines per blueprints and specifications.
- Inspect parts and make adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow all safety and 5S housekeeping procedures.
- Support team improvement and preventive maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior CNC or manual machining experience.
- Ability to read prints, follow routers, and use precision measuring tools.
- Lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for most of the shift.
- Must wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe shoes, ear protection).
