Builder/Tester ( 2nd Shift )
Job Description
About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring a 2nd shift (2 PM – 10 PM) Assembly Build Tester for a local Kings Mountain, NC manufacturer.
- Assignment Length: 3-month contract with possibility of extension to 6 months.
- Pay is $20.00/HR
- Benefits through PSU: Weekly Pay, Health Insurance, Holiday Pay, Referral Bonuses
Responsibilities:
- Accurately assemble and test various, moderately complex products to achieve customer quality.
- Work on products that contain mechanical components, single hydraulic systems, and multiple part numbers.
- Record test results on data forms using moderately complex electrical equipment and flow measurement devices. May us X-Y recorders, oscilloscopes, transducers, and other related equipment.
- Will ensure all equipment is calibrated per the calibration schedule.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Resume Required
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use required inspection equipment.
Physical Demands:
- Light to moderate physical effort is required.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, push, pull, stoop/bend.
