Warehouse Assoicate – 1st Shift | Cherryville, NC
About this Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate for our client in Cherryville, NC. This is a 1st shift, full-time opportunity with the potential for permanent hire.
- Pay: $12.00/HR
- Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities Include:
- Accurately fulfill and prepare daily orders for shipment
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and processing returns
- Operate forklift and order picker to move materials
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and inventory accuracy
- Create shipping labels and coordinate freight
- Assemble boxes and prepare packing materials
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Forklift and order picker operation experience (Required)
- Computer Proficient
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Solid problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or shipping-related experience
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Comfortable using pallet jacks, ladders, and transport carts.
