About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring for a Machine Operator opening in Shelby, NC! This long-term, temporary opportunity could lead to permanent hire.
- Shift: Full-time on 2nd shift
- Pay: $16.23/HR.
- Benefits: PSU provides Medical Insurance, Holiday & Vacation pay, and Bonuses.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up, operate, and monitor heavy textile machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor adjustments.
- Inspect products to meet quality standards.
- Track production data and report issues.
- Load/unload materials and ensure a safe, clean workspace.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or textile environment preferred.
- Familiarity with textile machinery and production processes is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
