Job Description
Job Title: MIG Welder (Structural Welding) – Shelby, NC
Salary: $20.00/hr. (to start)
Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
PSU Benefits: Paid weekly, Medical Insurance, Holiday & vacation pay, bonuses
Schedule:
- Regular Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM — 4:30 PM
- Workload: Typically working 5 tens (50 hours/week)
About the Role:
Our client is seeking experienced MIG Welders to join their team for structural welding work. Candidates must be skilled in MIG welding, wire welding, and structural fabrication. A welding test is required.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform MIG and wire welding on structural components
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and safety procedures
- Ensure welds meet quality and structural standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous welding experience with verifiable work history
- Must pass welding test prior to hire
- Must pass a standard background check and drug screening. (Certain convictions, including violent offenses, may affect your eligibility for this job.)
