Job Description
1st Shift Janitorial Position | $18.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Lunch: 1-hour lunch break
Lunch: 1-hour lunch break
We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitorial Worker for a first-shift position. The ideal candidate should have prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience and be comfortable performing a variety of cleaning and general maintenance duties.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate a floor cleaning machine
- Sweep, mop, and maintain floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Empty and remove trash
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Perform other miscellaneous job duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous janitorial/commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to operate a floor cleaner
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear steel-toe or composite-toe shoes
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety and cleaning procedures
