Join a well-established manufacturing company in Kings Mountain, NC. We're seeking an experienced Inventory and Production Coordinator to help drive scheduling, inventory accuracy, and supply chain performance.
About the Role:
The Inventory and Production Coordinator plays a key role in developing production schedules, tracking inventory, and coordinating with procurement to keep operations running smoothly. This position works closely with logistics, suppliers, and production teams to balance material availability with customer demand.

What You'll Do:
- Develop production schedules based on customer orders and line capacity
- Manage division inventory records and tracking of materials
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement/logistics as needed
- Enter and maintain purchase orders; communicate with suppliers on scheduling changes
- Run and review inventory reports to identify and correct discrepancies
- Analyze delivery performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Track overseas logistics and shipment timelines to support material availability
- Recommend solutions to improve inventory accuracy and supplier performance
What We're Looking For:
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory and production control
- 4-year college degree in business, engineering, or materials management required; supply chain certification a plus
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with lean enterprise principles and practices
- Must pass a satisfactory criminal background check as a condition of employment; candidates are evaluated individually and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
