Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for our client, a dynamic Gastonia, NC, manufacturer that produces custom material handling products.

Salary:  $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Shift Availability:

• 1^st Shift | 6:00 am – 2 pm
• Monday- Friday

To be a Champion in this role, you will need the following:

• Multiple years of Supply Chain, Shipping/Receiving, and Packing/Handling experience
• Inventory Control experience
• Forklift Certified
• Customer Service/ Support experience
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Product and inventory management training or certification
• Able to lift 50lbs., stand, bend and kneel thorough-out shift.
• Possess Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Teamwork Oriented and Positive Attitude.
• High School Diploma /GED

Type:  Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.

What your day will look like:

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will ensure correct and accurate receipts, cycle counting, inventory control, pack & ship orders, and develop business relationships with customers and suppliers.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels for the manufacturing plant.
• Complete inventory cycle counts and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate and administer year-end inventory and oversee the counting, data entry, and reconciliation process.
• Verify and source parts and materials needed to avoid inventory and production shortages.
• Pack and Ship orders/parts to clients and customers.
• Perform shipping, palletizing, and shrink wrap for order shipping to customers.
• Evaluate suppliers and negotiate best prices with vendors
