Job Description
About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is now recruiting an Insurance Sales and Service team member for our client, a national insurance company for their Shelby, NC, branch office. This [Direct-Hire] opening is On-site and offers full-time, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)hours.
Pay will depend on experience: $40K to $50K/yr.

Requirements include:
- Licensed in Property & Casualty; a Bonus if also licensed in Life and Health Insurance.
- 2-3 years Experience in selling and servicing insurance.
- Office administrative experience
- Willing to complete all licensing requirements for the State of NC and SC.
Job Skills:
- Strong phone and computer skills.
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Can maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Critical thinking and attention to detail are areas that are a must.
What your day will look like:
- Provide prompt and accurate customer service in a friendly, professional manner.
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Prepare forms, policies, certificates of insurance, and endorsements as required.
- Support agents in requests to service and/or sell insurance products.
- Maintain confidentiality of all policyholder's information and conversations.
- Attend agency-sponsored community involvement activities.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the employer.
