Industrial Painters - Commercial Vehicles
Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking skilled [Commercial Vehicle] Industrial Painters to join our client’s team in Shelby, NC. You will be responsible for surface preparation, priming, painting, and finishing commercial vehicle bodies and parts using spray equipment and other tools.
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00/HR
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Thursday | 10-Hour days | 6AM- 4:30PM

Responsibilities:
- Prep commercial vehicle bodies/parts: clean, sand, and mask surfaces
- Spray primers, topcoats, and protective finishes
- Mix/match colors and ensure smooth, quality coatings
- Apply special coatings (anti-rust, undercoating, chip-resistant)
- Maintain paint equipment and follow all safety procedures
- Perform touch-ups, detailing, and final inspections
Job Skills & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED. | Must be 18 years old.
- 1 year of experience. Previous painting experience in automotive, truck, heavy equipment, or industrial settings.
- Ability to read and follow paint specifications and work instructions
- Knowledge of mixing paints and proper spray techniques
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes
- Ability to lift and maneuver large parts as needed
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
