Heavy Machine Operator (2nd Shift)
Location: Shelby, NC
Pay: $16.50/hr. (up to $17.50/hr. once trained)
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:15pm – 11:45pm (train on 1st shift, then move to 2nd )
Type: Temp-to-Perm

About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring for a Heavy Machine Operator for a local manufacturer. This role offers hands-on training, a clear path to a permanent position, and a pay increase once training is complete. Start on 1st shift for training, then transition to 2nd shift permanently.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate and monitor production equipment
- Ensure products meet quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Inspect, document, and report production results
- Support the team with additional duties as needed
Job Skills and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or textile environment preferred.
- Familiarity with textile machinery and production processes is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
