Job Title:  Graduate School Enrollment Recruiter

Location: Boiling Springs, NC

Reports to:  Director of Digital Learning Enrollment

Salary: $38,000 - $47,000.00 / year


Personnel Services Unlimited is recruiting for a local university to place a Graduate School Enrollment Recruiter. The ideal candidate will have sales experience, be customer service focused, motivated, passionate, innovative, forward-thinking, able to communicate with professionals, and travel within the region.

 Job Description:

As a Graduate School Enrollment Recruiter, you will be a pivotal part of a team, engaging prospective applicants for the Graduate and Doctorate programs. This full-time, 12-month position requires a proactive individual with a sales background who can effectively represent the institution and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive enrollment growth.


  • Recruitment: Engage, recruit, and provide information to potential students interested in the Graduate College of Business programs, both on and off campus.
  • Application Support: Guide students through the application process, from initial inquiry to enrollment.
  • Representation: Attend recruitment events within a multi-state geographical area, showcasing the College of Business and its offerings.
  • Travel: Requires 65% travel during the travel season and 40% during the remainder of the year.
  • Interviews and Correspondence: Conduct telephone interviews and engage in email and text correspondence to understand student prospects’ education needs and interests.
  • Collaboration: Maintain collaborative relationships with Deans, Program Coordinators, and university support staff.
  • Database Management: Utilize the university’s database to manage the prospect pool, ensuring smooth communication and tracking throughout the enrollment cycle.
  • Qualification Analysis: Evaluate prospective students’ qualifications against established admissions criteria.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records of interactions and ensure data integrity for reporting and analysis.


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University.
  • At least five years of related experience and/or training in recruiting and advising (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly adapt to software platforms like Slate and Banner.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including phone, email, video-conferencing, and interpersonal interactions.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
