Furniture Quality Inspector – Upholstery Department
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | 1st shift
Location: Shelby, NC
Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Furniture Quality Inspector to join their upholstery production team. This position is responsible for inspecting furniture on the trim line to ensure products meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect upholstered furniture for defects and quality issues
- Identify products that do not meet standards and send them back for correction
- Ensure only quality-approved pieces move forward in production
- Handle and maneuver furniture to inspect all sides and angles
- Communicate quality concerns with production staff and supervisors
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous quality inspection experience required
- Furniture inspection experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make quality-based decisions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, move, and position furniture throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
