Shelby, NC | Part-Time & Full-Time Positions Available | $12.00/HR
Join a busy, local restaurant team! We’re hiring Food Prep team members to help keep the kitchen running smoothly. Great for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced food service environment.
About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited (PSU) is hiring Food Prep positions for a local restaurant in Shelby, NC. This role involves preparing sandwiches, trays, and plates to support daily operations.
Schedule:
- Shifts available: 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Days: Wednesday – Sunday (Sunday shift ends at 3:00 PM)
- One Part-Time and one Full-Time position available
What you’ll Do:
- Prepare sandwiches, trays, and plates according to restaurant standards
- Maintain a clean and organized prep area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support kitchen staff during busy service periods
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous food prep, kitchen, or restaurant experience preferred
- Can work quickly and stay calm when it gets busy
- Someone who will show up on time and is willing to work hard.
- Able to stand for long periods and can lift up to 25 pounds.
- Is a Team player with good communication skills.

Marsha is the Shelby office Service Manager who oversees daily recruiting and staffing operations.
In 1996, she came to Personnel Services Unlimited seeking temporary employment. After completing several assignments, she joined the PSU Staffing team and found her dream job helping others, just like her, find great jobs and meaningful careers. Marsha has her CTS certification from the National Association of Personnel Consultants.
With 25 years of experience, knowledge, and passion, Marsha achieves our clients’ staffing goals by consistently matching the right candidate to the right job.
When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, her two puppies ( Abby and Oscar), her cat (Gerald), and working in her garden.
