Digital Printing Production Operator
Job Description
About this Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring a Printer Operator. In this role, you’ll work alongside a team to meet production and finishing demands. Your day will involve loading media, operating printers, laminators, and plotters, and assisting with production and finishing tasks as needed.
Pay:
- $19/hr. or more based on experience
- Overtime Pay
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
Responsibilities Included:
- Load and operate cold pressure laminating equipment following safety procedures.
- Load and cut vinyl on a graphic plotter.
- Load media, inks, and generate quality prints from digital print equipment.
- Move raw materials, sheets, and roll goods for manufacturing.
- Maintain machinery in good working order.
- Keep track of stock and supplies.
- Keep workspaces clean, organized, and professional.
- Mask, weed, and apply vinyl to various substrates.
- Print, mount, trim, and finish digital graphics and signage.
- Assist with packaging and shipping orders.
- Use an X-Acto knife and tape measure efficiently.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to learn production equipment and software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical literacy with email, Microsoft Office, and design software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, focused, and calm under pressure.
- Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to retrieve materials from upper shelves.
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand on concrete floors for extended periods.
