Job Description
Personnel Services Unlimited is currently hiring a skilled Custom Cabinet Painter for one of our valued clients. This role is ideal for an experienced finisher who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship and has a strong eye for detail in a custom shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cabinet surfaces for finishing, including sanding, cleaning, filling, and masking
- Apply paints, stains, lacquers, and clear coats using spray equipment
- Match colors and finishes to provided samples and specifications
- Inspect completed work to ensure consistent, high-quality results
- Maintain a clean and organized spray booth and work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and proper material-handling procedures
- Collaborate with shop personnel to meet production schedules and quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience painting or finishing custom cabinets or similar wood products
- Proficiency with spray equipment and finishing materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a custom or high-end cabinetry environment
- Familiarity with both water-based and solvent-based finishes
- Experience with color matching and finish touch-ups
