Job Description
Job Title: Construction Estimator – Shelby, NC
We are seeking a motivated individual to join a local company as a Construction Estimator. This in-office role offers competitive pay, and candidates with construction experience are encouraged to apply -even without estimating experience. Training will be provided.
Pay:
- $16-$18/hr. for entry-level candidates.
- $30-$32/hr. With 4-year degree and 4-years' experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Perform material takeoffs and input data into estimating software.
- Prepare detailed estimates and submit them to contractors via email.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Qualifications:
- Construction experience is helpful, but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- A 4-year degree and/or 4+ years of construction estimating experience preferred.
- General construction knowledge is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with estimating software.
