About this Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is now hiring candidates for a CNC Set-up Machine Operator opening in Gastonia, NC! This second (2nd) shift, full-time, long-term opportunity, can lead to a permanent hire.
Pay: $17.00/HR based on experience.
Responsibilities Included:
The operator will work on the production floor setting up CNC Mills and Lathes.
- Confidently set up and operate CNC Vertical 3-axis Machining Center.
- Will perform some CNC programming.
- Successfully able to take blueprints and drawings to make a completed part.
- Produce a high-quality product by ensuring maintenance and quality checks on machines and finished products.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Proven skills in Programming Setup and Operation of CNC Vertical Mills.
- Forklift Certified
- Will need to Supply Your own Tools (micrometers, calipers, edge finders, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly, 75 lbs. occasionally
- Read and interpret detailed Blueprints.
- Strong Quality Inspection skills with measurement tools
- Knowledge of shop math and computers
