CAD Drafting Support Specialist
Job Description
About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring an CAD / Drafting Support Specialist! This full-time role supports engineering activities like drafting part drawings, tracking process flow, and generating manufacturing alerts.
The pay is $17.00/HR
Responsibilities Include:
- Support Engineering Services activities through CAD modeling, submittals, and revising cut sheets.
- Create detailed 3D drawings of parts and assemblies.
- Review sketches and specifications from engineers.
- Draft multiple-view assembly, subassembly, and layout drawings.
- Perform routine engineering tasks and support existing customers.
- Conduct research, analysis, and testing to support engineering activities.
- Enter data into QAD as needed.
- Track Stage Gate process activities and timing, and provide status updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. An undergraduate degree is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, 3D modeling, and 2D drafting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Technical accuracy and PC skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database management).
- Experience: Team player with a solid technical background and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Office environment with periodic lab and plant floor work.
- Ability to move throughout the plant and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Alternates between sitting, standing, and moving.
