What your day will look like as a Buyer:

In this position, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, or equipment for the organization.

It will require you to do extensive research; and have the ability to negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage inventory, evaluate quality goods, and stick within a budget.

Job Description:

• Manage and prepare purchase orders, and oversee shipping schedules.
• Assist internal departments in determining the most suitable product or services.
• Monitors stock inventory and updates raw material cost.
• Work with suppliers to oversee shipment schedules of purchase order deliveries.
• Utilize reports received by suppliers to resolve discrepancies or negotiate settlements.

 Buyer Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Background and experience in Purchasing: able to perform administrative tasks for shipping.
• Able to track, log and expedite shipments.
• Must focus on accuracy, attention to detail, customer service, and maintaining high standards of integrity.
