Job Description
About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is seeking an Application Specialist for a [Direct-Hire] position! Our client is a global manufacturer and distributor in the Charlotte, NC, metro area.
Base Salary: $65 – 85,000.00/Yr. Exempt
The Application Specialist collaborates with the Applications Team and Technical Sales to provide natural color solutions to food and beverage manufacturers across various categories such as beverages, confections, dairy products, snacks, bakery, cereal, etc.
- This Position is NOT remote or hybrid.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide color match/recommendations for customer food and beverage products, including trials and stability testing.
- Develop and present demonstration samples of natural colors for meetings and tradeshows.
- Analyze and provide technical recommendations to the Sales Team based on data performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized lab space, operating pilot plant equipment as needed.
- Some travel is required.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/ Food Engineering
- 3+ years of Production Development experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Creative problem solver with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
