About the Role:

Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring entry-level Carpentry Assemblers to work 1^st shift for a local Shelby, NC manufacturer. This long-term opportunity can lead to permanent hire. Pay is $15.00/hr.

Responsibilities Include:

• Create and produce high-quality wood, metal, acrylic, plastic, glass, electrical, and wire projects.
• Operate various carpentry tools, such as trim saws, vertical panel saws, mill working, welding, painting, graphics application, and fabrication of acrylic/plastics.
• Work from blueprints, scale drawings, and photographs.

Job Skills and Requirements:

• Working knowledge of all woodworking equipment and shop operations.
• Pre-fab framing carpentry experience - a plus.
• Lift up to 40-50
• Read a ruler to 1/16” inch.
• High School Diploma or GED.
