Responsibilities Include:
Under minimal supervision, the Die Finisher Polisher will:
  • Polish the reduction angle of parts to the proper requirements.
  • Read and understand traveler and ISO instructions
  • Set angles using a protractor.
  • Select wires and thread them through the dies.
  • Measure die progress using a hand micrometer
  • Clean dies and label them according to their size.
  • Prepare for visual inspection.
Job Skills and Requirements:
 
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must pass an entrance test
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk on concrete floors for 8-12 hours per day.
  • Experience with WP-23 machine is preferred.
